- Conversant with single line diagrams and normal electrical circuit diagrams.
- Ensure safety compliance at all times.
- Ensure to escalate all issues in your shift.
- Assist team members with problem solving
- Required to work a 3 shift pattern, with essential overtime when requested.
- Understand and interpret fault code from QLS-CM
- Communicate failure mode effectively
- During teardown, record all component disassembly data
- Make use of QLS-CM for data collection
- Communicate & escalate all recurring defects from stations in your zone.
- Maintain the toolbox & tools in good condition.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and PCA implementation.
- Provide coaching on avoidable process failure modes to team members as required by process coach.
- Maintain the work area in a good 5S standard.
- Always maintain good PPE practices
- Ensure good end of shift reporting out & proper shift handover
- Minimum N3 plus Trade Test Certificate Electrician
- Minimum of three years administrative experience
- Minimum of two years High Voltage experience & substation Maintenace experience.
- DC Drives working knowledge advantageous
- Compressor knowledge advantageous
- Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS) advantageous
- Safety: Complete near misses as per requirement
- Quality: Ensure incident report is ready before unit gets to EOL
