The role:
The purpose of the role is to perform environmental monitoring tasks, general site maintenance tasks required for the Company’s defunct mines located in Mpumalanga.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Environmental (Water, Soils, Dust) monitoring tasks with in various defunct mines located in Mpumalanga in accordance with the monitoring procedures
- Record and report environmental monitoring information using appropriate monitoring devices and deliver samples to the laboratory
- General maintenance tasks required from time to time at mine sites
- Assist in various areas as and when required by the supervisor
You will need:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science
- Grade 10 (internal employees)
- 2 years’ experience in Mining
- Practical Mine Environmental Control Certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- In possession of or able to obtain a certificate of fitness
