Key Performance Areas:
- Support optimization and creation of exciting new products in line with Design HACCP requirements that will meet market requirements from concept phase to industrialization
- Assist to produce concept samples projects following Design and Development procedures
- Participate in the development of product and process assessment/analytical methods
- Participate in the development of new procedures and update existing NPD procedures
- Assist to conduct shelf life studies, pack and distribute samples, compile results, control storage of shelf life samples
- Assist to conduct sensory evaluation, pack and distribute samples, compile results
- Collect data to trend and review raw material, product and process specifications
- Participate in the development, validation and implementation of analytical methods
Qualifications:
- Matric certificate with Math and Science as subjects
- A relevant diploma/degree would be an advantage
Additional Requirements:
- Basic MS Office computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is advantageous
- Report writing skills
- Must preferably have own transport
- Must be prepared to work shifts or extended hours when required
- Must be able to travel between sites
- Fluent in English
