Electrical Technician
Responsibilities
- You will ensure day to day maintenance of plant and equipment to minimize downtime whilst proactively track and monitor agreed maintenance schedules/job cards to make sure the jobs are completed timeously.
- You will provide feedback to Technical Supervisor on Continuous Improvement suggestions and project status.
- You will make sure fault rectification complies with legislation in situations where deviations are required, it must be escalated to Technical Supervisor and/or HSE Manager for approval.
- You will make sure investigations, evaluations and resolution of problems are identified inclusive of Health and Safety for safe working standards.
- You will ensure effective execution of planning and administration for efficient preventative maintenance including the ordering of parts and coordinating of contractors.
- You will apply all HSE safety principles, rules and requirements at all times and escalate any issues or concerns.
Qualifications
- Electrical Trade Test.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Experience in manufacturing.
- Experience in an industrial environment advantageous.
- Valid code 8 driver’s license.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP.
