A full learnership opportunity exists at Eastern Chrome Mine for candidates to enrol in a learnership
programme with the purpose to obtain a Trade Certificate.
Learnership opportunities exists in one of the following trades:
• Auto Electrical
• Diesel Mechanic
• Instrumentation
• Electrician
• Fitter
• Millwright
Qualifications:
• Grade 12 / Technical Grade 12
• Full N2 (four (4) full engineering subjects including relevant trade theory and mathematics)
Skills Requirements:
• Candidates will be required to undergo an aptitude test or psychometric assessments
• Medically fit for underground
Job Objectives:
• Enter into an Engineering learnership programme with the MQA SETA
• Undergo institutional training at one of the Glencore approved training centres
• Undergo practical training and exposure at the premises of the Company
