Description
- Fabricating from complex drawings and marking off basic regular engineering shapes. Cutting, drilling and punching, assembling and mechanically joining structural steel work.
- Assembling and mechanically joining sheets, plates, tubes, pipes and steel sections. Performing heat treatment processes on engineering metals.
- Maintaining belt conveyor components. Operating cranes, lifting and moving material and equipment by means of a forklift.
- Attending to call-outs with regards to breakdowns. Write technical reports. Conduct on-the-job coaching.

- Engineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications
Requirements
· Grade 12 Certificate
· Qualified with trade papers section 13
· Code 8 Drivers License
· Be able to read Engineering drawings for manufacturing
· Valid Certificate of physical fitness
· Ability to read and write in English
· Ability to communicate with people on different levels
· Be able to work call outs and standby
