Job Description
- Custodian of Safety.
- Lead all electrical and instrumentation work on site including breakdowns and planned maintenance, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance.
- Lead /manage contractor activities on site.
- Drive and maintain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programme on site.
- Support Operational Excellence (OE) programme.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Electrical Trade Tested.
- Instrumentation Qualification
- A higher tertiary level qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in
- LV (low voltage) applications
- Instrumentation
- Experience in MV (medium voltage) applications will be an added advantage)
- Experience in mechanical repairs and plant operations will be an advantage
- Plant operations.
- Knowledge in Siemens control systems.
- Proficiency in use of computers, including MS programmes.
- Must be able to work unsupervised, with good technical skills.
