Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/C&I Engineering
Experience:
Performance & Testing environment 3 years
Skills and Competencies
• Behavioral – Analysis communication, Coordinate contract management, Evaluation report writing
• Leadership – Team player, motivating teams, coaching, mentoring, developing
• Knowledge – Plant safety regulations (LV), Basic health and safety knowledge, Knowledge of maintenance systems, Regulations OHRV and PSR, Quality control, Plant process knowledge and contract management, Analysis/Coordination/Evaluation
• Skills – Decision making/ Supervisory/ Computer/ Communication/ Risk analysis
Key Responsibilities
1. Enhance and maintain the operational performance of the plant.
2. Determine long term performance of the plant.
3. Apply new calibration figures and standards due to a changing environment.
4. Coordinate and control activities relating to coal accounting.
5. Establish and maintain an information system.
6. Assist with special tests.
7. Coordinate and control contractor staff activities, eg. Calibrations, assessments and repairs
8. Assist with budget controls.
