Job Description
-To perform maintenance effectively to maximize the availability of equipment to sections at the lowest cost by:
- Ensuring maintenance on the wheel dozer and graders (Komatsu, Caterpillars)
- Ensuring the changing and replacing of the filter including topping up the Lubes
- Being responsible to attending to the breakdowns of the equipment
- Being able to interpret hydraulic schematics
- Ensuring that the work environment is equipped with the necessary spare parts and defective components are identified, in order to find and implement permanent
This role is in the Asset Strategy & Reliability Mining Maintenance (HME) Department at a J4 level reporting to the Engineering Supervisor.
- Qualifications
-Grade 12 or N3 Technical Matric - N2 Certificate
- Qualified /Trade Certificate as Artisan
- Valid South African Driver’s license
- Medical fitness certificate
