Qualifications
- NQF 6 Certificate in Engineering / B.Tech in Engineering
- Red Seal Trade Certificate: Fitter/Fitter and Turner
Experience
- 5-10 Years Experience in a Maintenance Environment as a Technician
- Asset Care Experience
Duties
OHS Act Compliance:
- Ensure Statutory compliance
Responsible for MTTR & MTBF analysis:
- Identify problematic equipment
- Determine AM & PPM focus areas
- Review Work Order & Schedule Compliance
- Review Resource Utilisation
- Review critical, PPM & AM spares lists
- Review and analyse 5-Why analysis
- Advance problem solving and collaboration with Reliability Engineer
- Paricipate in root cause analysis investigation
- Execution of reliability improvement projects
Budget Control / Cost Management:
- Approve purchase orders within certain cost limit
- Obtain quotations from external service providers
5S:
- Drive 5S principles
