Purpose of the Programme

This P1 and P2 experiential training programme is designed to support students in completing their National Diploma qualifications by providing hands-on training and real-world exposure in the chemical and metallurgical engineering fields.

 Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Have completed S4 or S5 in one of the following:

  • Chemical Engineering

  • Metallurgical Engineering

  • Analytical Chemistry

• Possess an academic average of 60% or higher

• Be computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Demonstrate strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills

• Be detail-oriented and self-motivated

Job Skills & Responsibilities For The Mintek P1 and P2 experiential training program

Participants will:

• Work on real-world metallurgical and chemical research projects

• Assist in data collection, reporting, analysis, and laboratory tasks

• Gain exposure to industry-standard processes and equipment

• Develop both technical and soft skills essential for career growth

 Salary Package

• Annual Total Cost to Company (CTC): R93,600

• Non-negotiable fixed stipend for the contract duration
