To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
· a matric/grade 12 certificate;
· a relevant N4 qualification or higher;
· a National Trade Test certificatein electronics or electronic and security systems;
· at least 3–5 years’ experience in an electronic engineering environment;
· a valid driver’s licence; and
· accommodation within 30–60 minutes away from site to be able to tend to emergency call-outs while on standby duties.
Additional requirements include:
· knowledge and skill in:
– engineering and planning;
– facilities, engineering and reporting; and
– facilities, engineering and information management;
· verbal and written communication skills in English;
· computer literacy (i.e. working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite);
· the ability to work overtime and do standby duties when required; and
· have own transport.
