Maintenance Services at Redlands Hospital are looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join their team. This is an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician Instrumentation, and Control/Electrical Dual Apprenticeship through completing on the job training with Metro South Health and completing an approved course of formal training though a registered training provider.
As an Apprentice Electrician you will work a Monday – Friday, 9 day fortnight roster. Primarily based at Redlands Hospital, you will select install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in hospitals and health buildings (including at times specialist biomedical equipment). You will need to:
- Commit to and complete the RTO endorsed training plan in the time allocated, and
- Enrol and attend vocational training; complete theory-based assessments and demonstrate skills through competency-based assessments to the best of your ability.
