ROLE SUMMARY:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types
- Cleaning a variety of rooms and areas across the campus
- Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture
- Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures
- Emptying trash cans, washing, and cleaning windows
- Liaising with the line manager regarding stock of cleaning products and equipment
- Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process
- Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done
- General support for functions and events on campus if needed
- Holidays – Follow Holiday Cleaning Duty List
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As part of the team to assist with all campus requirements
- Assist with other tasks given
- Adhere to all mandatory deadlines
- Behave in a professional manner regarding punctuality, behaviour, standards of work
- Be willing to continuously develop one’s skills through personal and school wide professional development
- Produce work of a high standard
- Show loyalty to all facets of Reddford House
- The post holder is required to undertake any other reasonable tasks that the School Head/line manager determine
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Fluency in English language is essential
- Refrain from divulging confidential information relating to the School, Staff, or its students to any unauthorised person at any time
- Maintain professional boundaries with parents and children alike, and always be professional in one’s conduct
- Safeguard all equipment allocated to you
- Attend all special occasions at the discretion of the relevant Head
- Experience in a similar role
- Completed Matric/ Matric qualification
- Appropriate right to work is a requirement.
