To drive sales and to manage aspects relating to the store, specifically stock, cash, and meeting the needs of customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack and arrange new shipments from supplier
- Arrange and label goods in the display shelves
- Restock depleted or low shop items and ensure that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines
•Perform end-of-day cleaning duties, which includes wiping down windows, mirrors and fixtures as well as sweeping and mopping the shop floor •Coordinate fulfillment of customer orders to staff; maintains inventory database when orders are fulfilled
- Process customer payments at the checkout point / till using the shop’s point of sale system
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Assist in opening and closing the store according to the centre’s opening and closing times including weekends.
- Grade 12 certificate
- 3 years’ sales administration / retail experience is desired
- Must be able to work weekends
- Excellent communication, problem solving & time management skills.
