QUALIFICATION
- Minimum Grade 12 / N2, preferably N3 or higher technical qualification
- Trade Test / National Qualification preferred.
- Auto-electrical, electrical, concrete pumps and hydraulic/pneumatic, experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum five years of general maintenance experience essential

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
The incumbent will be required to perform various tasks inherent to the position such as:
- General maintenance of concrete truck mixers, mixer units, concrete pump trucks, and wheel loaders
- Ensuring that scheduled daily and monthly maintenance is done on concrete batch plants.
- Welding of various steel structures
- Maintaining conveyor belts and screw conveyors
- Maintaining air compressors
- Painting
- Maintaining hydraulic systems
- General repair work for Plant Managers in the concrete plants
- Overall care and maintenance of company assets
- Pro-active repair work on mixer units
- Supervising General Workers
