Eskom is offering an exciting Learner Internship opportunity within the Civil Engineering Department at the Medupi Power Station.
This internship is designed for graduates in Construction or Project Management who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a large-scale engineering environment.
Successful applicants will be required to sign a 2-year Internship Contract and will receive a monthly stipend in accordance with Eskom’s company policies and procedures.
This is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring engineers to build their foundation in one of South Africa’s most significant infrastructure projects and work under the mentorship of experienced professionals.
 Job Description For The Eskom 2 years Engineering Learnership
The successful candidate will be expected to:

Participate actively in the internship training programme, applying theoretical knowledge to practical tasks.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the Civil Department.

Ensure that all assigned duties are completed in line with Eskom’s performance and safety standards.

Maintain a strong commitment to learning, teamwork, and personal development.
 Key Responsibilities
-
Support site-based engineering and project management activities.
-
Assist in planning, monitoring, and documenting construction processes.
-
Participate in safety meetings and quality assurance activities.
-
Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 (Section 14) and ensure all safety responsibilities are fulfilled.

Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
