Thabang Maimela’s Tip

For this position, your CV should clearly demonstrate your trade qualification, completed apprenticeship and relevant FMCG experience. Do not simply state that you have mechanical maintenance experience; explain the types of machinery you have maintained, the preventative maintenance activities you have performed and your involvement in breakdown repairs.

If you have worked in a high-speed bottling environment, highlight that experience prominently because it is specifically identified as advantageous. Also mention your experience with production efficiency, reducing downtime, problem-solving and working shifts.
