Minimum Requirements for the Henwil Chickens qualified Electrician vacancy
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) – This is an essential requirement.
Qualified Electrician certification with a Trade Certificate.
At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Electrician (advantageous).
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including tools, materials, and safety protocols.
Understanding of the National Electrical Code and regulations for electrical installations.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and vendors.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and stand-by shifts as required.
Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Electrician, your duties will include:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Reading and interpreting instructions, blueprints, sketches, and technical diagrams.
Performing routine electrical maintenance to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions.
Inspecting electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring systems.
Completing job documentation accurately, including job cards, inspection lists, and reports.
Ensuring minimal downtime by efficiently handling electrical issues.
Conducting preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of electrical systems and equipment.
