Transnet Young Professional-in-Training

Programme Overview:

  • Duration: 24 months of structured development

  • Rotation: Placement in various functional departments at TRIM

  • Mentorship: Guided support from experienced professionals

  • Performance: Progress reviews every 6 months


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be unemployed

  • Must be a South African citizen

  • Aged between 18 and 35 years

  • Must hold a BCom in Accounting Sciences (AC) or BTech degree

  • Minimum qualification: NQF Level 6 or higher

  • Graduated from a Department of Higher Education & Training registered institution (University or University of Technology)

  • No prior work experience in your field of study


Key Responsibilities / Position Outputs:

  • Participate in a comprehensive two-year training programme

  • Gain valuable exposure to real-world operations across various TRIM departments

  • Collaborate with teams to contribute to business and administrative processes

  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
