Job Purpose
We are seeking qualified and motivated Artisan Electricians (Level I and Level II) to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for testing, setting, calibration, maintenance, and fault finding on plant systems. They will ensure compliance with all relevant electrical standards by issuing certificates of compliance for installations and repairs. This role plays a critical part in supporting safe and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Artisan Electrician (Level I – 34005022)

Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on low voltage systems

Replace damaged or outdated electrical equipment

Prioritize and manage work orders as per service instructions

Maintain compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)

Interface with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated plant support

Assist with inventory management and administrative reporting

Support junior staff and participate in mentorship and coaching
-
Execute any other duties or special assignments as required
Artisan Electrician (Level II – 34005022B)

Perform maintenance and fault repairs on both low and medium voltage systems
-
Support safe operation of all MV systems and adhere to all safety procedures

Lead electrical repair tasks and provide technical support to junior electricians
-
Maintain operational standards and contribute to the efficiency of plant systems
-
Engage in cross-functional team collaboration and process improvement initiatives
Essential Requirements
Level I – 34005022

Trade-Tested Artisan (Electrician) certification
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Valid Basic First Aid Certificate (or must be obtained within 6–12 months)

Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience
Level II – 34005022B
-
Trade-Tested Artisan (Electrician) certification
-
Must be authorized to operate on medium voltage (MV) systems or eligible for authorization within 9 months
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Valid Basic First Aid and Safety certificates (or must be obtained within 6–12 months)

Minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship experience
Preferred Experience

Level I: 3 years post-apprenticeship experience

Level II: 4 years post-apprenticeship experience
