Sibanye-Stillwater, a global mining and metals processing leader, is committed to empowering South African youth by providing structured training programmes that foster professional growth and employment readiness. We are currently inviting applications for our Electrical Apprenticeship Programme for 2025. This programme offers candidates a chance to obtain both theoretical knowledge and practical workplace skills that lead to artisan certification.

Minimum Entry Requirements for the Sibanye-Stillwater Artisan Learnerships
Applicants must meet one of the following academic requirements:

N2 Certificate with the following subjects:

Mathematics
-
Engineering Science
-
Industrial Electronics
-
Electrical Trade Theory
OR
-
-
NCV Level 4 in Electrical Infrastructure Construction, including:
-
Mathematics (minimum 40%)
-
Physical Science (minimum 40%)
-
Electrical Principles and Practices
-
Electronic Control and Digital Electronics
-
Electrical Systems and Construction
-
Electrical Workmanship
-
Additional Requirements
-
Must be declared medically fit through a risk-based assessment at a Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.

Must pass security screening.
-
A valid driver’s license is an advantage (if applicable).

Prior experience in an engineering environment will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
-
Complete all training modules within the prescribed timeframe.

Attend and contribute to SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) meetings and adhere to all legal safety standards and procedures.

Accurately report progress and escalate challenges to training stakeholders.

Participate in regular risk assessments and follow job safety protocols.

Foster teamwork, maintain effective communication, and build positive relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
