An Exciting Career Opportunity exists for a Maintenance Technician to be based at IPP: Longlake. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the Maintenance Program for the facility is completed effectively and as per agreed timelines.
Ensure preventative maintenance is completed as per the schedule in the agreed timelines.
Ensure all equipment maintenance logbooks are completed according to the maintenance schedule for the equipment.
Ensures facility equipment is in working order according to acceptable quality pharmaceutical standards.
Ensure all activities are carried out as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and ensuring Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance at all times
Ensure all spares manufactured adhere to accepted quality standards.
Ensure completion of all maintenance services as requested and assigned within the agreed time frames.
Immediately report any defects in the building, equipment, or any other safety concern to the relevant Department Manager.
Perform all relevant tasks in line with cGMP Standards with minimal downtime.
Ensure efficiency of the facility is not compromised.
Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:
Grade 12
Trade tested Millwright
3 years working experience in a similar position
Experience in a Pharmaceutical environment (advantage)
