Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to support and maintain all Body-in-White (BIW) equipment within our advanced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong electrical and mechanical background, with proven experience in automated production systems.
The role is critical to maintaining productivity, quality, and equipment availability, and requires flexibility to work shifts and attend to after-hours issues when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Scope of Responsibility

Maintain and repair all BIW-related equipment, modules, and components.

Ensure prompt resolution of breakdowns and initiate technical improvements.

Execute Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Planned Maintenance (PM), Health & Safety (H&S)procedures, and SAP breakdown bookings.
Quality Assurance

Support the team in achieving Product, Process, and System Quality Targets as per the Target Commitment Process.

Retain and update all technical records and documentation.

Ensure full compliance with ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and ISO 45001 standards.

Perform repairs and maintenance independently, adhering to high-quality standards.
Operational Flexibility

Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime and support production volume targets.

Participate in commissioning and testing of equipment to ensure production readiness.

Work rotating shifts and remain on-call for urgent repairs.

Ensure equipment readiness before shift handover.
Productivity and Optimization

Assist management in meeting budget, staffing, and productivity goals.

Conduct preventative maintenance to eliminate recurring equipment issues.

Continuously acquire plant and system knowledge to facilitate real-time diagnostics and solutions.

Optimize BIW equipment performance for product quality, reliability, and availability.

Efficiently manage spare parts and maintenance resources.
Minimum Requirements

National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Trade Test Certification

Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within an automated production environment

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

High-level technical and analytical abilities

Specialized knowledge in automated production systems (BIW advantageous)
