Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Service Technician to join our dynamic and evolving manufacturing facility. With a diverse range of machinery—from legacy systems to cutting-edge high-tech equipment—you’ll play a critical role in maintaining site productivity and reliability. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to equipment breakdowns across the entire site, conduct root cause analysis, and implement lasting corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities For The Xelvin Entry Level Electrician

Rapidly respond to machine breakdowns, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting.

Conduct corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and automated systems.

Collaborate with production to assess impact and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Support or coordinate with internal teams and external service providers.

Work on high-voltage systems, PLCs, pneumatic equipment, and regulatory devices.

Ensure safe machine operation through Lock Out, Tag Out, Try Out (LOTOTO) protocols.

Contribute to continuous improvement projects, enhancing machine reliability and production uptime.

Document maintenance actions and technical reports within our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Requirements

Completed technical trade certification (Millwright, Red Seal, or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics).

Proven experience in a maintenance or service technician role, ideally in a manufacturing or process-driven environment.

Familiarity with electrical systems, PLCs, and troubleshooting automated equipment.

Comfortable working a 5-shift rotation in a 24/7 operational environment.

Strong multitasking and prioritization skills; capable of managing simultaneous breakdowns and projects.

Hands-on, action-oriented mindset with a safety-first approach and keen attention to quality.
