Our Group of Companies, a leading force in the Construction and Building sector in South Africa, is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join our Occupational Health and Safety Learnership Programme. As part of our ongoing commitment to Employment Equity and youth development, we invite qualifying candidates to apply for our NQF Level 4 Health and Safety Learnership starting in July 2025, based in Cape Town.

What We Offer

• Accredited NQF4 Occupational Health and Safety Qualification

• Structured Theoretical and Practical Training over 12 months

  • Theory: Approx. 4 months (Cape Town-based classroom training)

  • Practical: Approx. 8 months (on-site learning with expert mentorship)

• A clear pathway to grow your career in Health and Safety Management within the civil construction industry

Minimum Requirements For The Power Construction Learnership For 2025

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12)

• N6 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering

• South African citizen

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, write, and speak)

Added Advantages

• A strong interest in Civil Construction and Health & Safety

• Demonstrated leadership skills and team collaboration

• Proficiency in another South African language (advantageous)

• Preference will be given to EE/AA candidates in alignment with our Employment Equity policies

Location & Duration

• Location: Cape Town (Theory & Site Work)

• Start Date: July 2025

• Duration: 12 months (4 months theory + 8 months site placement)
