We’re looking for 6 motivated individuals to join our 2025 HVAC Apprentice Program and gain valuable hands-on experience in commercial heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems (HVAC). Under the mentorship of skilled HVAC specialists, you’ll assist in repairs, maintenance, and installations while earning your formal HVAC trade qualification.
Key Responsibilities of HVAC Apprentice Program 2025
As an HVAC Apprentice, you’ll gain comprehensive experience in the HVAC industry, including but not limited to:
Health and Safety Compliance – Follow safe work practices, maintain a clean environment, and use equipment responsibly.
HVAC Repairs and Maintenance – Assist in repairing and replacing HVAC components, test connections for leaks, and perform preventive maintenance.
HVAC Installation Support – Help install air ducts, valves, blowers, and other HVAC system components.
Routine Equipment Maintenance – Assist with the servicing, cleaning, and part replacements of HVAC systems.
General Site Preparation – Organize work areas, clean up after tasks, and ensure tools are maintained properly.
Team Collaboration – Work alongside experienced technicians, learn industry best practices, and develop essential technical skills.
Skills and Qualifications You Need to Succeed in the
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the HVAC industry is advantageous but not required.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or Science.
A valid driver’s license (held for at least 1 year).
Completed N5 Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering (preferred).

To Qualify for the HVAC Apprentice Program, You Must:
Be available to start 1 March 2025.
Have a valid South African ID.
Meet the minimum criteria outlined above.
Commit to a 4-year learning program.
Not have previously completed or currently be enrolled in another learnership or apprenticeship program.
Be between the ages of 20-30.
Pass our Placement Competency Evaluation Test.
Attend a panel interview.
Have no previous criminal record or convictions.
