Job Description:
Join Philips South Africa as a Field Service Engineer Intern and gain hands-on experience by providing technical support to customers on operational and maintenance aspects of various system equipment. This is a great opportunity to work alongside the Philips Services team, develop essential skills, and contribute to impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform fault-finding and planned maintenance of Philips equipment.
Assist Field Service Engineers in the field as needed.
Offer technical support to customers on operational and maintenance issues within defined limits.
Serve as a secondary point of contact for customers on technical and service-related problems.
Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures.
Operate autonomously within established procedures, methods, and techniques.
Qualifications:
You’re the perfect fit if you meet the following criteria:
You are a graduate (2023-2025) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Light Current, Computer Systems, or Biomedical Engineering).
You are a South African graduate with a completed qualification, having achieved a minimum of 60% in all required modules/credits.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
