The appointee should:
- NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)
- N3 Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Certificate.
- Section 13 or 26D (completed learnership / apprenticeship) Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certificate as recognised by the QTCO.
- At least 5 years’ experience as an Artisan Mechanical or Electrical in surface processing plant environment.
- SAP PM and MM experience.
- Project Management
- Valid driver’s license
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
Technical Competencies
- Computer skills (MS Office and Symplexity).
- MS Projects
- Detailed knowledge of applicable legislation (specific reference to the Companies Act).
- In depth knowledge of company governance and corporate management.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Analytical with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of governance framework formulation and maintenance at a corporate level.
- Auditing skills.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical aspects of Surface processing plants.
- Understanding of the operational process and the impact the plant systems and schedules have on the operation.
