Key Outputs
- Assist a mechanic / technician in servicing and repair machines and / or components to OEM standards and customer requirements while maintaining an orderly and safe workplace.
- Primary duties is to operate the sandblasting machine, drill and tap, and grinding.
- Know which tools are used for which jobs and ensure the mechanic / technician has them within reach.
- Assist the mechanic(s) in performing moderate to complex maintenance and repair work on machines and / or components.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Verbal comprehension and written comprehension.
- Aiming (hand-eye coordination).
- Physical resilience to handle large tools.
- Be able to sandblast.
- Be able to use hand tools.
