Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an In-Service Training opportunity in our Manufacturing department based in Midrand. This is a 12-month experiential training programme designed to give electrical or mechanical engineering students hands-on experience in a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities For The CCBSA 2025 In Service Treinee Engineering

As an In-Service Engineering Trainee, you will:

• Conduct inspections and perform proactive maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency.

• Adjust and repair mechanical/electrical equipment to reduce downtime and minimize operational risk.

• Participate in engineering projects that improve plant reliability and performance.

• Apply theoretical knowledge in practical environments to meet real-world challenges.

• Support plant operations in achieving maintenance and production goals.

What You’ll Learn:

• Practical implementation of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.

• Maintenance best practices to increase machine uptime and operational safety.

• Exposure to high-speed bottling lines and advanced engineering systems.

• Real-time decision making in a fast-paced and competitive setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with:

  • Mathematics (Not Mathematical Literacy) – 40%+

  • Physical Science – 40%+

  • Two South African languages – 40%+

• Studying toward a National Diploma in:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Or a related engineering qualification

• Completed theoretical modules and now require in-service/workplace training

• Letter from institution confirming the need for in-service training to complete your qualification

• Must not have completed in-service training previously at another organization

Additional Criteria:

• Must be a South African Citizen

• Must be an Employment Equity (EE) candidate

• Must be unemployed at the time of application

• Age: 18–35 years old
