The Production Technologies Association of South Africa (PtSA) invites you to apply for the PtSA TDM Powered Toolmaker Apprenticeship – a nationally recognized 4-year full-time apprenticeship that will prepare you for a rewarding career in toolmaking, die making, mold manufacturing, and special machining.
 What You’ll Learn
Through this structured apprenticeship programme, you will:

Gain hands-on skills in tool, die, and mold-making environments

Participate in on-the-job training at top manufacturing companies

Learn to read and interpret technical drawings

Develop precision measurement, machining, and component design skills

Complete all required theoretical and practical modules for certification
 Minimum Entry Requirements For The PtSA Toolmaker Apprentice Program 2025
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have:

Grade 12 with Core Mathematics and Physical Science, OR

An N3 / NC(V) Level 4 certificate (NQF Level 4) with Mathematics and Physical or Engineering Science

A strong interest in engineering, machining, or toolmaking

Willingness to commit to a 4-year full-time apprenticeship

Eagerness to gain employment in a technical manufacturing environment
