 About the Programme

Woodlands Dairy, one of South Africa’s leading dairy manufacturers, is offering an exciting Dairy Learnership Programme for unemployed youth who are eager to build a career in the dairy reception and processing industry. This comprehensive 12-month programme integrates theoretical education with hands-on practical training in key areas of dairy operations.

 What You Will Learn

The programme will cover essential modules, including:

• Milk Reception & Handling

• Nature and Composition of Milk

• Food Safety and Quality Assurance

• Housekeeping in a Food Environment

• Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) and Cleaning-Out-of-Place (COP) Systems

• Introduction to Dairy Equipment and Processes

• Workplace Safety and Hygiene Practices

 Requirements For The Woodlands Dairy 2025 Intake Learnerships 

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be unemployed South African youth

• Be between the ages of 18 to 29

• Have completed Grade 12 (Matric)

• Have no prior work experience (experience is not required)

• Be committed to attending both the theoretical and practical components of the programme
