Are you a multi-skilled individual with technical maintenance expertise? MRTT invites suitable and qualified candidates to apply for this Handyman position in Kanyamazane, Nelspruit.

 Minimum Requirements For The MRTT 2025 Artisan Training Programs

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• Technical Certificate (N3 or NCV Level 4) in disciplines like Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, or Welding

• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance work, preferably in a hospitality or training environment

• Multi-skilled in:

  • Painting

  • Plumbing

  • Welding

  • Electrical repairs

 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs and maintenance of buildings, facilities, and surrounding premises

• Conduct walk-through inspections and generate cost estimates

• Fix minor faults such as:

  • Wall and surface damage

  • Broken windows and doors

  • Light electrical and plumbing issues

• Assist in painting and surface refurbishing

• Support qualified tradesmen in technical tasks

• Maintain tools and ensure proper housekeeping in all technical areas

• Handle emergency maintenance tasks efficiently

• Adhere to occupational health and safety standards

• Address customer queries or complaints

• Ensure jobs are completed professionally and on time
