 Job Description

Are you a recent N6 graduate looking to gain practical work experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment? We are offering an 18-month Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Internship Programme for students who have completed their N6 National Certificate in HR, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.

This programme will provide you with hands-on experience, industry exposure, and the opportunity to develop essential skills within one of our reputable retail divisions located in Gauteng East.

 Key Responsibilities For The Truworths Work Integrated Learning

As part of the WIL programme, you will:

• Learn and apply critical knowledge relevant to the retail environment.

• Assist customers with product queries and finding merchandise.

• Help merchandise the store according to company guidelines and branding.

• Process payments, purchases, and transactions efficiently.

• Assist with opening new customer accounts.

• Play a role in stock control and preventing losses.

• Build strong customer relationships and ensure excellent service delivery.

• Help maintain in-store security and safety.

• Get the opportunity to grow into a junior leadership position by demonstrating initiative and performance.

 Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

To be eligible for this WIL internship, you must:

• Be a South African citizen.

• Have completed an N6 National Certificate in one of the following fields:

  • HR (Human Resources)

  • Business/Office Administration

  • Business Management

  • Management Assistant

  • Business Studies

• Have no prior full-time work experience.

• Be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
