Purpose of the Job
Impala Platinum Ltd is offering a Chemical Engineering In-Service Training Opportunity for students who have completed all their theoretical modules toward a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering (NQF Level 6). This 12-month practical training supports students in fulfilling the required work-integrated learning component of their qualification.
Minimum Requirements For The Impala Platinum 2026 P1 and P2

Completion of all theoretical subjects of a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering

A sound understanding of basic chemical engineering principles

Medically fit for work in either BMR or PMR operations

A letter from your institution confirming completion of all theoretical modules
Duties and Responsibilities

Undertake practical work aligned with the requirements of your training program

Receive mentorship and technical guidance from experienced professionals

Assist with plant operations, process evaluations, and equipment monitoring
-
Learn and apply safety standards and operational protocols
-
Support routine tasks and contribute to improvement initiatives within the department
