The Maslow Hotel Learnership Programme is designed to close the hospitality skills gap in South Africa by training future professionals in food preparation, customer service, and hotel operations. The programme combines theoretical knowledge with on-the-job training, making you more employable in the hospitality and tourism sectors.

 Minimum Entry Requirements For The 10 Learnership Opportunities at The Maslow 

To qualify for this hospitality learnership in Sandton, you must meet the following:

• South African citizen with a valid SA ID

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification

• Updated CV and a motivational letter

• Hospitality or Culinary certificate (beneficial but not compulsory)

• Aged between 18 and 34 years old

• Unemployed and not currently registered for any other learnership or internship

 Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written English)

• High level of interpersonal skills and customer service orientation

• Passion for hospitality, cooking, or food preparation

• Willing to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and problem-solving ability

• Enthusiastic about a career in hotels, restaurants, or tourism
