About the Opportunity
Applications are invited for the position of Workshop Assistant from suitably qualified candidates. While external applicants are welcome, internal permanent employees will be given preference in line with our internal promotion policy.

Key Duties & Responsibilities For The Bell Equipment Mechanic Assistant

Assist mechanics by passing tools and parts as required

Clean tools, bakkie (vehicle), and general work area
-
Strip and clean mechanical components under supervision
-
Load and unload machinery parts and components
-
Follow lawful instructions from senior team members

Perform general workshop duties as needed
Minimum Requirements
-
Matric Certificate or ABET Level 4
-
Previous experience in a workshop or similar environment will be advantageous

Must be able to identify common tools and mechanical parts
-
Able to communicate clearly in English

Must be willing to learn and take instructions

Prepared to work overtime when required

Candidates based in the area will be given preference
