 Purpose of the Role
NWK is offering a structured apprenticeship programme for individuals seeking a career in technical trades. This opportunity provides both practical workplace experience and theoretical training under the guidance of qualified artisans. As the apprenticeship progresses, candidates will take on more responsibility, enhance their technical skills, and gain valuable industry exposure.
 Key Responsibilities
Practical Training

Execute assigned technical tasks under supervision

Assist in fitting, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment

Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including tool care

Apply theoretical learning in real-world scenarios

Complete all practical training modules successfully
Theoretical Training

Attend formal training sessions and classes as required

Complete technical subjects, including written assessments

Integrate classroom knowledge with hands-on tasks
 Minimum Requirements For The NWK Electrician Apprenticeship Program
To qualify for the NWK Apprenticeship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)

N3 qualification or technical subjects in Matric (advantageous)

Good numerical ability and decision-making skills

Sound practical judgment and manual dexterity

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, flowcharts, and schematics

Fluency in English and/or Afrikaans (written and spoken)

Must be medically fit for physical work environments
