Unilever is offering an exciting opportunity for students in the fields of Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Food Technology who require P1/P2 work experience as part of their National Diploma.

 Main Responsibilities

• Complete all requirements as outlined by Unilever’s Learnership Programme, including:

  • Attendance of training sessions

  • Completion of assessments and projects

  • Maintaining a detailed logbook

  • Delivering presentations when required

• Perform general operations on the manufacturing line such as:

  • Packing, cleaning, and quality inspections

  • Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Ensure strict compliance with:

  • Site safety rules

  • Quality assurance processes

  • Unilever’s Code of Business Principles

 Minimum Requirements For The Unilever 2026 In Service Trainee

• Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Core Mathematics and Physical Science

• Enrolled in a National Diploma in:

  • Analytical Chemistry

  • Biochemistry / Microbiology

  • Food Technology

• Must be in need of P1 and P2 work-integrated learning

• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal) in English
