Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will ensure all manufacturing equipment is serviced, maintained, and repaired according to technical specifications and good engineering practices to maximize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities For The Adcock Ingram Apprentices Millwright

• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation artisans to maintain plant equipment.

• Repair equipment failures promptly to restore functionality.

• Conduct preventive maintenance to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.

• Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring faults.

• Complete job cards accurately and on time, capturing all relevant details.

• Ensure all equipment is made safe before work and that safety equipment is functional at all times.

• Adhere to cGMP standards in line with Adcock Ingram Critical Care requirements.

• Assess and decide on parts replacement and any additional work required during inspections.

• Recommend and implement activities to improve performance and reliability.

• Continuously develop technical skills to work independently after training.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric – Essential.

• N4 – N6 Electrical and/or Mechanical qualification – Essential.

• Proven experience in maintenance, equipment servicing, and fault repair in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of safety standards and maintenance best practices.
