Key Responsibilities For The SFI Group Artisan Assistant

As an HVAC Assistant, you will:

• Follow all Health and Safety requirements and company procedures.

• Assist in HVAC repairs and maintenance activities.

• Provide support during HVAC system installations.

• Help with equipment cleaning, maintenance, and preparation.

• Set up tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.

• Maintain clean, organised, and safe work areas (good housekeeping).

• Support preventive maintenance schedules.

• Collaborate with senior technicians and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 / Matric – Mandatory.

• Valid Driver’s Licence – Preferred but not essential.

• N1 – N4 Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification – Advantageous.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in HVAC or a related technical field – Beneficial.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Familiarity with HVAC tools, equipment, and components.

• Ability to assist in troubleshooting and minor repairs.

• Active learning mindset – willing to expand technical knowledge.
