Assmang (Pty) Ltd – Khumani Iron Ore Mine, based in the Northern Cape, is offering an exciting 24-month Learnership Programme for highly motivated and committed individuals who are eager to grow and develop within the mining industry.
Minimum Qualifications For Assmang 2025 Engineering Learnerships

Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Science).
Other Requirements

Must be medically fit and meet the required Mine Health and Safety standards.

Must hold a valid Code B/EB driver’s license.

Willingness to undergo training during shifts.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

Basic computer literacy.

Strong physical coordination (foot, eye, hand, and ear coordination).
Training Programme Details
-
Duration: 24 months.

Type: Fixed-term contract (Learnership).

Stipend: Monthly allowance as per company remuneration practices.

Learners will undergo training in line with the company’s Code of Practice and the Mine Health and Safety Act (Act 29 of 1996).

A Dover assessment may be required, as per company and regulatory standards.

Successful candidates will be responsible for their own accommodation and transport.
