 Key Responsibilities For The Transnet 2025 Work Integrated Learner
Task Execution

Assist in projects within allocated departments or work-streams.

Perform routine operational tasks under supervision.

Support administrative functions including documentation and reporting.
Learning & Development
-
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programmes.

Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical industry insights.
-
Engage in problem-solving and develop analytical thinking skills.
Communication & Collaboration
-
Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to understand business needs.

Provide regular progress updates on assigned tasks and projects.
-
Act as a central contact point for queries and assistance.
Research & Analysis

Conduct market research, data collection, and business analysis.

Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office tools.

Assist in process improvement initiatives and innovation projects.
Compliance & Safety

Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Ensure adherence to ethical and professional guidelines.

Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all assigned tasks.
 Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Matric (Grade 12) certificate or equivalent.

Completed all theoretical subjects towards a Diploma (University of Technology) in one of the following fields:

Information Technology

Business Administration

Supply Chain Management

Must be a South African citizen.

Age: 18–35 years.
