We are offering a 3–4 year Instrumentation Apprenticeship Programme, providing aspiring artisans with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and become qualified tradesmen. This structured programme, aligned with company and SETA requirements, combines practical training with theoretical learning to prepare candidates for a successful career as an Instrumentation Artisan.
Key Responsibilities For The SAB Apprentice Instrumentation x2

Complete the apprenticeship programme in line with SETA and company standards.

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and optimisation of instrumentation and control systems.

Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Support equipment inspections, fault-finding, and repairs.

Participate in planning, preparation, and execution of technical tasks.

Continuously improve plant processes, systems, and technical performance.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics & Physical Science.

N4 Technical Certificate in Instrumentation (essential).

N5/N6 in Instrumentation or related engineering discipline (advantageous).

Strong engineering aptitude and problem-solving ability.

Physically fit, good vision, and not colour blind.

Willing to work shifts, overtime, and attend training in Johannesburg.
