Purpose of the Programme
This Learnership Programme is designed to provide motivated individuals with practical technical training and hands-on workplace experience. Successful candidates will gain valuable skills across multiple engineering and manufacturing disciplines while working under the guidance of qualified mentors.
Upon completion of the programme, learners will achieve an NQF Level 3 certification, positioning them for future career opportunities in the engineering, technical, and manufacturing sectors.
Training Modules
Learners will be exposed to structured theoretical and practical training, including:

Working effectively in a team environment

Applying safety practices in the workplace

Using hand tools safely and effectively

Understanding assembly and manufacturing drawings

Performing marking off and welding tasks

Operating and monitoring production machinery

Preparing and treating surfaces for production

Basic firefighting techniques

Operations and dispatch of manufactured products
Minimum Qualifications and Experience For The Toyota 2025 Learner Maintenance
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

National Technical Certificate (N3 – N6) OR

Matric / Technical Matric with:

Mathematics & Physical Science OR Engineering Science

Electrical Trade Theory OR Mechanical Trade Theory OR Motor Trade Theory

Mechanical Drawing or Graphical Design

Strong academic foundation in technical or trade-related subjects
