Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling tanks and structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder with strong technical skills and a passion for precision.

Minimum Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.

• Professional Welding Certificate (recognized qualification).

Experience Requirements For The Omnia Artisan Welder

• Minimum 3 years’ proven working experience as a Welder.

• At least 2 years’ experience using various welding equipment and procedures such as TIG, MMA, MIG, and Arc Welding.

• Proven ability to use electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, grinders, etc.).

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Tank and Structural Manufacturing

• Manufacture and assemble tanks and structural components.

• Ensure sections align correctly before welding or bolting.

• Conduct leak and pressure tests to ensure durability and safety.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements to plan fabrication layouts.

Welding Operations

• Set up and regulate welding equipment according to project specifications.

• Cut and prepare materials using powered saws, grinders, and other tools.

• Perform welding tasks using TIG, MMA, and other techniques with precision and accuracy.

Safety & SHERQ Compliance

• Follow strict safety, health, environment, risk, and quality (SHERQ) standards.

• Wear and maintain correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

• Keep welding equipment and tools in safe working condition.

Maintenance & Productivity

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tanks and structures.

• Ensure high-quality welding output while meeting deadlines and productivity targets.
