N6 Diploma / National Trade Test (Mechanical Fitter)

5+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment

Strong fault-finding skills

Knowledge of engineering practices and standards

Ability to work independently under pressure
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair plant machinery & equipment

Respond quickly to urgent breakdowns
-
Perform scheduled maintenance, lubrication & monitoring

Test equipment after repairs before handing back to production
-
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and drawings
-
Ensure lifting and safety equipment meets compliance standards
-
Report damaged tools & ensure safe maintenance practices
