Position Purpose
An apprenticeship is a structured work-based learning programme completed under the supervision and guidance of a qualified Artisan within the workplace. Apprentices also attend formal instruction sessions at an accredited training facility to acquire the theoretical knowledge required for national Technical Certificate courses.
Key Outputs / Responsibilities
The apprenticeship programme is designed to develop the ability to:

Plan and prepare the work site, equipment, tools, consumables, and materials for trade-related activities.

Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.

Install, assemble, fit, and connect electrical equipment and control systems.

Test, inspect, commission, maintain, and repair equipment, control systems, installations, and assemblies.
