Programme Purpose
The Trainee Development Programme is designed to prepare high-potential individuals for future roles within the mine’s operations. Successful candidates will participate in a structured training programme, gaining practical exposure and real on-the-job experience in a professional mining environment.
Minimum Requirements For Ivanplats x4 Artisan Assistant Fitter Learner

Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification

Successful completion of a Dover test to assess operator suitability
Advantageous Qualifications

Up to 2 years of relevant work experience

Previous exposure to an engineering or mining environment

Additional technical or vocational qualifications beyond Grade 12
Important Information

Training is aligned to specific operational roles within the mine

The programme duration is up to 90 days, during which trainees must demonstrate competence

Permanent employment is not guaranteed — it will depend on performance, competency, and available vacancies
